This category honours an individual re-shaping business/marketing within their firms by disrupting industry models and familiar ways of working.
Our jury will consider the disruptor’s demonstrated evidence of acting as an ‘intrapreneur’ within an organisation by identifying opportunities, bringing new ideas and driving positive change. Judges will also consider founders disrupting industry models. The disruptor could be a newcomer in the industry or a company or have been operating in the industry for several years.
Here is the guidance around what your submission should include:

A brief overview of the disruptor’s company (size, location, etc.)

A description of the marketing challenges the disruptor addressed

The disruptors demonstrated leadership. In this category, we also want you to highlight how they delivered impact, succeeded in creating change, and impacted the performance of their organisation, its products/services, and its stakeholders

Any challenges the disruptor faced and how they overcame them

Evidence of success demonstrating the impact it made on company’s bottom line/ commercial business impact

Any relevant internal or client testimonials/quotes

A brief statement explaining why the disruptor should win this award

Don’t include vanity metrics (e.g., click rates, open rates, and impressions). Instead, showcase: how you impacted the company’s bottom line, drove customer acquisition, increased customer retention, drove new revenue, or expanded customer share of wallet.
